Applicants interested in applying to SA-IBS, SA-IET and SA-ICT may refer to the admission requirements set by the UoSA Office of Admissions below.
(1) General Requirement for BBA, BA (Hons) & BSc (Hons) Degrees
You need to have one of the following qualifications.
Matriculation Exam – A PASS in all subjects – Minimum total marks 300.
IGCSE , GCE O Level exam – Minimum Grade (D) for all taken subjects.
SAFS GCE O Level exam – Minimum Grade (D) for all taken subjects.
OSSD – Over 50 %
UK Level (3) Diploma – All subjects must PASS and include Minimum Credit (or) Merit in one subject.
For students from Kachin, Kayin, Rakhine , etc, ethic groups can provide High School Completion Letter (or) Matriculation Exam held by their own schools in their regions.
University Foundation Programs – All subjects must PASS and include Minimum Credit (or) Merit in one subject.
(2) English Proficiency Requirement
You need to have one of the following documents to prove your English Proficiency. However, if you don’t have any certificates, you can still apply for admission.
SA – Qualifying English Test (SAQET) – minimum overall 6.0.
IELTS/IELTS Indicator – minimum overall 6.0.
TOEFL iBT– minimum 70.
Duolingo English Test (DET) – minimum 110.
Matriculation Exam (English) – minimum 75 marks.
Applicant who does not have any English Proficiency Test results and applicant who does not have minimum requirement scores must take extra English Classes assigned by the UoSA.

Please attach the above required documents from 1 and 2 (soft-copy) with statement of purpose why you choose this subject including introducing your background (no more than 800 words). And, send mail to undergraduate@usa.com with Full Name in Subject Area.
Please write I (Full Name) , Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY), am applying for admission with *Self-funding (or) *with SA Scholarship at the end of your personal statement letter.
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to take SA – Qualifying Mathematics Test (SAQMT) – if needed and interview session.
Deadline to apply admission for February 2026 intake 2024 is 13 January, 2026.
We will contact the shortlisted candidates by 17 January, 2026.
SAQMT and Interview Period will be between 17 January, 2026 and 24 January, 2026.
Successful Applicants will be contacted by 31 January, 2026.
All degrees programs will be taught under SA’s Learning Management System and all modules will be offered ONLINE and Weekends.
